The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has released a list of companies that it has certified to produce face masks and hand sanitizers to feed the increasing demand for the materials in the face of the second wave of Covid-19 infection that the country is going through.

The 48 mask producers will produce 52 different brands of masks while the 105 sanitizer makers will produce some 132 bands of sanitizers.

UNBS is the statutory mandated entity of the Government of Uganda that undertakes quality assurance and undertakes standards certification.
